It’s not uncommon for old and rustic homes to have such small windows or big openings they occupied no room. Now usually this is turned into a terrace or a sunny spot where you can admire the landscape. In such cases it’s a good idea to either close the windows much or make the most of the sun. The living room was this particular layout that the architects at Studiolada created. The living room is not the only social space in the house. It’s also a multifunctional space.

The architects created a generous sitting area with bold colors that are reflected in the sliding doors that can either be opened to let in the natural light or close to close the glass to let in the late fall leaves or to let the sunlight. The fireplace is also very interesting. It’s an indoor piece of art more than other ones. The photographs are created by Perianthane where the architect used actual workers of the house. The house is actually very bright and flooded with natural light. It was a very smart idea that the renovation process had its well begun too.
