La Jolla is a very chic and charming house located in Mesa, Arizona, USA. It was designed by Monovolume Architects and it was completed in 2010. The house sits on an almost unnoticeable lot that covers a surface of 2,500 square feet. Even though it’s small, the house is very warm and inviting.

The inviting and warm atmosphere that the house needs to feel complete was achieved by using a palette of organic and neutral elements. The structure features glass walls on both sides and there’s also a series of connected areas. Outside there’s an intimate lounge area and a pool terrace with a suspended roof and built-in fireplaces. The interior features wood-paneled areas, with comfortable and cozy seating areas and bright and beautiful bedrooms.

The kitchen is large and inviting. It features extra-large windows with views of the mountains and has an unusual design. It features reclaimed barn wood walls and white cabinetry. Throughout the house there are also preserved elements made of reclaimed wood such as barn doors, old doors and cabinet pulls. The furniture is very beautiful and can be easily replaced by new ones. Each room has a different look and decal patterns were used for the walls and ceilings.
