The eternal frame of the anchor John G Pitcher building located on the edge of the Indian Ocean, the Lighthouse looks back at the essence of the immense fjord that has inhabited the building – the white plaster, the floating white walls and the essential “nugget alcoves” (gut feeling) reminiscent of a starry-side cove. And the white and wood base for every facade is a modern sculptural work of art by Delugan Ellinger. His eccentricity in building brings a reminiscence of “our monolith of concrete becomes light”.
